Supporting individuals and couples through individual therapy and relationship therapy to build deeper intimacy, stronger communication, and empowered sexuality.
We address various relationship issues related to sexuality, including sexual desire issues, sexual orientation and gender identity expression concerns — encompassing challenges faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer individuals, as well as transgender and non-binary matters. Additionally, our sex therapy supports those navigating sexual concerns associated with aging, illness, and disability in diverse relationships.
In individual therapy, we explore assertiveness and boundaries, focusing on effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Relationship therapy addresses issues related to separation, divorce, break-ups, and co-parenting, particularly in the context of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Gender, and Queer related issues. Additionally, we emphasize the importance of self-esteem, self-confidence, and a strong sense of self in personal growth, while also prioritizing self-care and overall wellness for a balanced life. For those seeking help with intimacy issues, sex therapy can provide valuable insights and support.
Connection, intimacy, and attachment are essential topics explored in individual therapy and relationship therapy. Effective communication and conflict resolution can often be enhanced through relationship therapy, addressing issues related to sex and sexuality, which may be tackled in sex therapy. Additionally, relationship repair is crucial when dealing with infidelity, betrayal of trust, and the ongoing process of rebuilding trust. Navigating relationship challenges, including parenting, can also benefit from individual therapy. Furthermore, issues surrounding separation, divorce, and coparenting after separation can be effectively addressed in relationship therapy.
Session fees for our services are as follows: Individual therapy sessions are available virtually for $195.00 per 50-minute session. For those seeking couples or group sessions, relationship therapy is also offered virtually for the same rate of $195.00 per 50-minute session. All sessions, including sex therapy and other therapeutic services, are conducted online.
Services such as individual therapy, relationship therapy, and sex therapy may be covered by your insurance company, employee health benefit plan, or extended health care coverage. It is wise to contact your insurance company before we begin our work together and confirm what they cover.
Payment is taken at the end of each session for individual therapy, relationship therapy, or sex therapy. E-transfers, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted for payment.
When you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment for individual therapy, relationship therapy, or sex therapy and don't provide notice, another client who may need that available spot misses out on the opportunity. Unfortunately, because of this, all cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at 100% of the cost of the session, and missed appointments will result in a full session fee charge.
I offer a complementary 15-minute session to introduce ourselves and answer any questions you may have about individual therapy, relationship therapy, or sex therapy. This is an opportunity to determine if there is a good fit between therapist and client.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions about individual therapy, relationship therapy, or sex therapy, or if you would like more information.

I am a Registered Social Worker #14770 and a Canadian Certified Counsellor #10002254. It is wise to contact your insurance company before we begin our work together and confirm they cover my services. Some insurance providers require specific credentials such as a registered psychologist or a Master of Social Work degree.
When you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment and don't provide notice, another client who may need and eagerly waiting for an available spot doesn't get to benefit. Unfortunately, because of this all cancellations made with less than 6-hours notice will be charged at 50% of the cost of the session and no-shows will be charged 100% of the session fee.
Fees are payable by e-transfer to bravespacecounselling@gmail.com or credit card using the Square app at the end of each session. The receipt, presented after each session in exchange for payment, may be submitted to the insurance provider to request reimbursement, according to the terms of coverage.
I provide appointment times that fit the needs of the client, including evening and weekends.
